Rman, I refered to the "Wally World Special" in another post on this forum and I was particularly refering to the WalMart exclusive, stainless, long barrel that I don't think is available anywhere elese. I have 2 10/22s and I would reccomend them to anyone as a first .22.
10/22?
Everyone seems to have at least one of these. For some reason, I have never owned one, in spite of having a number of other Ruger firearms. I don't have a good .22 semi-auto rifle right now. What makes the 10/22 so popular? Is the Wally World Special a good place to start?
