Wanted everyone to know that I suck.
Took out the GP100 today. I think it has a bent barrel. :D

Actually it wasn't too bad. Started out with 38 specials. Really
nice. Then went to 357's and I think I chipped a tooth.:p
Have the factory grips which are nice, but have Pachmayrs coming
thanks to the generosity of Kansas45.

Had to fiddle with the sights a bit and it seemed to come around.
I was short for time, so ran about 100 rounds through total.
American Eagle 38's, WWB 38's, and Blazer 357's.

Next time, I hope to do well enough to bring the target home.
This is sure a sweet gun!

All i have to say is practice practice practice. I too am trying to master the double action pull on my sp101. I can stage the trigger and do pretty good but i kinda suck if i try to rapid fire.

as said practice practice and lots of dry fire to help the trigger

When I first shot my GP100, I had to adjust the sights a fair amount, but once they were dialed in it was very accurate - love this gun!

That was great. I had the exact same problem. It seems ruger doesn't sight these things in when before they send them out. Mine was about 3 inches high and 1 and 1/2 to the left. Once it was fix, the gun shot perfect. I bet somebody who really knew what they were doing, could shoot good with this gun.
