Have a pair of .44-40 Vaqueros, but need a back up. Had one purchased, but the gun ended up being unsafe to shoot do to the owners "fix it" work. Ruger could not fix it, but Ruger replaced it with a Blackhawk. So I ended up with a new Blackhawk. So here I am still looking for a .44-40 Vaquero for my back up pistol. Prefer a 4 5/8" but will look at a 5 1/2" barrel.
