Just picked up a 44mag carbine international in poor condition, so i'am going to do a full restoration on it. Most of the rifle is already stripped down. On the pistol grip part of the stock is the round plastic medalion with the ruger logo on it . I put a magnet on it and felt the pull, so i know there is a screw holding it on, problem is without damaging it how do i get at that screw, any help will be appreciated

From somewhere in a deep recess of dusty memory, I seem to recall that they may have been glued on... That's not a certainty, though - just a somewhat likely possibility; don't go prying with abandon. :)

Sounds like a great project - I'm envious!
