Does anyone know or has tried to see if the 5-shot cylinder from Borchart Rifle is the correct length, etc., to get it reamed and fitted for .45 ACP or .45 Win Mag in the new .454 Casull SB?

Thanks y'all.

A cheaper option (albeit more cumbersome on loading, but not terribly so), might be to get some moon clips made and have the cylinder milled for clips.

or an even cheaper solution would be to down load 45 colt or casull brass to 45 act velocities. Unique is the powder I used for reduced everything loads.

A great suggestion for a .45 C cylinder, I would be leery about removing any metal from a .454 Ca cylinder, but that's just me.

No reason to be leery at all. The case is still fully supported when you moon clip a 454c revolver. The chamber pressure is totally unaware of the change. Guys do it all the time to Super RedHawks.
