Just purchased a new 7MM08 rifle. Anybody have a recipe they would be willing to share. I have 500 each of Nosler 140grain Accubond & 500 hundred Nosler 150 Ballistic tip bullets. I will be hunting antelope, mule deer & cow elk with this round.

P95FAN, Good selection. The 7mm-08 is one of the best cartridges on the market. It optimizes with 139-140 gr bullets (best accuracy) but seems to shoot most bullets 160 gr and under quite well. Personally, I'd want the heavier 160 gr Speer Grand Slams for elk. I load these with 44.0 gr of W-760 for 2600 fps.

My pet load for the 140s is 2800 fps with 47.5 gr of IMR 4350. These shoot very tight groups in my Rem 700 and would be my choice for antelope. For the 150 gr, 2650 fps with 44.5 gr of the same powder is one deer killin' load.

I just started working up some loads for the 7-08 and so far have had good luck with H414 and the Hornady 139 and 154 grain bullets.
