Congratulations! I still have my Alaska Cabin Cookbook with a recipe for mooseburger pizza! Moose are a little hard to come by in Eastern Oregon,
Elk isn't bad though.

Dandy bull... congrats!

I can often be found roaming the woods with a No.1 in hand, but I do all of my moose hunting with archery gear.

Thanks, it was a 3/4 mile pack to the meat pole. I'm thankful that at age 63 I can still do it!
Good for you!

Glad that I can drive from the center of the 15th largest metro US population,thirty five minute drive to private hunt lease lands,well past adjacent public hunt lands,and stiil have to pack 1/4 mile (or longer) meat backpack.Ice Chest the Easy Part.
