Which side of the fence?

If you ever wondered which side of the fence you sit on, this is a great test!

If a Republican doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.

If a Democrat doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a Republican is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat.

If a Democrat is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a Republican is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.

If a Democrat is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.

If a Republican is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.

If a Democrat is down-and-out he wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a Republican doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels.

A Democrat demands that those they don't like be shut down.

If a Republican is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.

A Democrat non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.

If a Republican decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or
may choose a job that provides it.

If a Democrat decides he needs health care, he demands that the rest of us pay
for his.

If a Republican reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have a good
laugh.

A Democrat will delete it because he's "offended."

The following is not Jeff Foxworthy's words...just was reminded of how simple things use to be before it all got so "correct"...When we farmed and a fence dividing our land from another man's land and it needed to be repaired do you know how we decided who would pay for the "fixin"? The two land owners would meet at the center of the fence...face each other and the fence to each man's right was his responsibility...nobody ever fussed or argued...that's how it was...then they shook hands and went on with the day. If it all needed replacing it got taken care of..if it needed repair, the man responsible took care of it..

Today the Government would have to sign off on it, make sure there was an ecological impact study and have the Corps of Engineers handle the plans and approvals...Then we'd have minimum wages, health care and the fairness in hiring illegals to do the work...all instead of a handshake, a few bucks spent and 2 neighbors just getting the work done for everyone's benefit.

If a Republican finds a business's practices objectionable, he doesn't patronize them.
If a Democrat finds a business's practices objectionable, he demands government action.
If a Republican thinks there is a problem, he tries to find other people who think the same way so they work out a solution.
If a Democrat thinks there is a problem he thinks the government should do something.
If a Republican sees kids behaving badly he thinks it's their parents fault.
If a Democrat sees ids behaving badly he think they need more government programs.
If a Republican sees people suffering health problems due to misbehavior, he think's it their fault and they deserve neither sympathy or understanding.
If a Democrat sees people suffering health problems due to misbehavior, he thinks taxpayers must provide for them.
