You are probably one of those who knows how to do it with a gun that cooperates. Mine was so uncooperative that --at times-- I thought I'd sell it, but I was advised by the President of Ruger not to bother; that he had one that had a count of 50,000 rounds without a single cleaning.Looks cool but it appears to be one of those things that would end up in a box and eventually tossed or sold via garage sale for 25¢. YMMV

Kudos for you.My thoughts.
Never had the need.
Nothing personal mate.Kudos for you.
Not a problem at all, friend. That's what discussions and conversations are about. If we all agreed 100% on everything, there would be no point inNothing personal mate.
If you post on open forum, you have to expect that other folk may have differing opinions than you.....![]()
I bet you will not need it either after as many years of using a Ruger Standard or Mark as I have. You are probably one of those who knows how to do it with a gun that cooperates. My gun is so tight that I had to use a plastic punch and mallet to remove the pin. Reassembly was a real PITA. Now, I have caught myself smiling at the thought, that with an ally, I had conquered the reassembly beeeeeyatch.
Jokingly: If I were to throw this for a garage sale, I would make sure to have another one standing by.
Well, you know what they (whoever they are) say:I bet you will not need it either after as many years of using a Ruger Standard or Mark as I have.
Acquired my first in 1968 or '69 and still shoot it often.
I do (need one.)Cool but who really needs one? Not being facetious, but I've never had any problem assembling or un-assembling the Rugers MK's.
