Found this one at a little shop here in Maine. I had looked for one long ago, but after about a year, gave up....Then this one turned up out of the blue

Don't know why it is, but it seemed hard to find it in .38 Special....

Gizamo, is it just the angle of the pic, or is the rear face of the cylinder nearly flush with the back face of the frame? What I'm really asking is: are the cylinder holes recessed so the cartridge rims are contained fully surrounded by the cylinder?

Definitely the angle of the shot...Not a recessed cylinder....This one was tuned to perfection and has a great DA pull. The trigger breaks like ice and has zero creep. I would have to put it up there on my list of favorites....
