NRA Poll

Why would the NRA be polling preferences for a Beretta 92 vs a Ruger GP100 ?? Unless the poll is legit and they're looking for preferences of semi-autos vs revolvers

It's just marketing.

They have a running face off poll. Choose between two guns from 8 brackets until they get a "winner". They could care less about which one wins.

Get's hits for their page, probably a lot of "likes", which connects them to people so they can post to their walls. Get their message out, maybe get people to join the NRA, call them to action on issues, sell them overpriced "stuff" etc.

Whole point of social media marketing is just like any other advertising, get as many eyeballs on their product as possible.

Ruger is doing the same thing on their page, you can enter daily for a chance to win a gun. Which reminds me.....

I think the poll is from the NRA legitimately. I also think it is a what's more popular poll.
I believe it is more of an entertainment poll than a scientific one, if you don't want to participate that is another choice you can make.
