I'm wondering where I stand amongst other 556 MPR (in my case, the 8514) owners in terms of what their rifle weighs minus ammo?

I ask because Ruger's specs say it weighs 6.8 lbs, however mine comes in at 9.4 lbs w my TRUGLO TRU-brite 1-6x24 scope, UTG Ultra Slim angled foregrip, and an MS4 Dual QD sling... add a full 30 rd pmag and she's a tad over 10 lbs.

Given what I see at the range, on YouTube, and in manufacturer’s ads, it’s hard to believe that anyone owns a bare bones AR anymore.

I’ll just chalk this up to a dumb a** question.
