For me it's a function of the ammunition. While I can hit the paper at 200, it would be a stretch to call the holes a "group". I've tried three different types of CCI and it doesn't make a difference. 100 is fine, but beyond that is a stretch (for mine). I have a highly modified target 10/22 with Kidd bull barrel and trigger group.
I have yet to try 100 yds on paper. I have shot a can at 100 yds but had to compensate a tiny bit for bullet drop. This was with stock setup and Nikon scope. I am just curious since I just recently upgraded almost every part of my rifle except the receiver and bolt.
