I would like some opinions. Yes, I know we all have them. I have a collection of revolvers to include a S&W 69 4", a S&W 460 magnum 5", and a Ruger SRH 454 with the 7.5" barrel. I do a lot of hiking all over the country. I'm thinking about carrying a .454 in a nice chest rig but that 7.5" is too unwieldy. I'm thinking about trading it in for an Alaskan. But, then I saw the Toklat. Other than just the 2.5" barrel length difference and a little bit of velocity, is there any significant reason to get one over the other?
Thanks
