Some of us have either never reloaded or don't anymore-but like to shoot a lot-share your sources for affordable factory ammo other than Wally World, if you will, and especially if you know where we can get military .45 hardball for $5 a 50-roundbox, like when I started shooting!!!! Thanks!!

Ammo and reloading components are taking a jump in price. I went to the local Wal-Mart and bought a couple cases of .22's and a case of .38's since I don't reload it. Think I'll buy a couple more cases of .22's before they go up. Wal-Mart hadn't raised theirs yet. The price of lead, zinc, Copper, and other metals have had a big price increase.
Calvin, Just curious, did Walmart give you a discount for taking a complete case?? Or did you have to pay the shelf price? [?] Thanks!

Ruger Packer, I had to pay shelf price, but the bulk-pack is cheaper than the box price. They cost 8.96 for 550 Federal hollow Points.
Calvin, I kinda figured they charged you shelf price. Just for the heck of it, I'm going over there today and ask if I get a discount if I buy a whole case. All they can do is say, "no". [8D]

Let me know if it works and I'll try it. :)
I tried! Didn't work. But $8.96 for a box of 550 still isn't bad.

Oh yeah... Dave, I don't crow like no rooster! I just sneak up on 'em! [}:)]
