I am a 48 year old farmer and we can be ruff on firearms as mine is carried everyday 8 months of the year in trucks and tractors . I had a 1022 since I was 16 the receiver cracked 5years ago and I replaced it with a new 1022. after reading posts on this forum I called Ruger and had my rifle sent in 2 weeks later I got a new rifle back offering to pay the difference for SS I was sent one at no additional charge. 2 days later I got a small package from ruger inside was the extended mag release I put on the old rifle 30 years ago and forgot to remove. how can you beat service like that?

good stuff. its always nice to hear that a company cares about its customers. Not many real American companies left, so those that work like Ruger get my business, and thanks.

I have yet to use the Ruger customer service even though I need to; not for my 10-22 but for a couple of my Mark iii's. It's good to know so many folks speak well of Ruger service.
