It looks just like the Lightning I used to have. Back in the day, Colt patented the 22 Long, (not Long Rifle) and downsized the centerfire Lightning (medium frame) especially for the 22 Long cartridge to make a small frame rifle. I learned this the hard way by trying to chamber 22 LR ammo in my Lightening. All that was stamped on the barrel was 22 Cal, which at the time was 22 Short and 22 Long because 22 LR had not yet been invented. These old Lightnings are pretty valuable. Mine was not in very good condition but about 10 years ago, I got $4000 out of it from a Colt collector.

I bet that was fun to see!
Taurus made some copies just so you could shoot the tar out of them. Colts value just keeps heading to the sky on these classic.
