Bought RCBS 505 to check against my RCBS ChargeMaster 1500. But before the 505 I have used a Hornady digital and "cheapie plastic Lee 100 grain scale" which for my pistol chargers worked fine. I have checked my "cheapie plastic Lee 100 grain scale" against the 505 with no difference with the exception waiting for the scale to stop bouncing.
I am very happy with the 505 and put the "cheapie plastic Lee 100 grain scale" out to pasture after 20 years of use.

I have tried 7 different digital scales over the years, and sent them all back. My ancient Ohaus 5 0 5 still serves as my gold standard.

I have the Redding Model 2 scale.

IMO, the most important part of any scale, is having an accurate set of calibration weights in the weights close to your powder charge weights.
