Anyone carrying a little heavier today?

Without straying too far into politics.... looks like a bank came down... and then another... and maybe more to come?

I'm a panicky, tin-foil hat wearer. I was at the grocery store getting more rice, beans, dehydrated milk, flour and sugar yesterday. Grabbed another box of mountain house dehydrated meals, too. Pulled a sizable amount of fiat currency out of my bank (not just coins, had enough in there to get a real deal paper bill!) ... ya know, just in case.

Going to work today with the P365 and a couple spare mags. I guess bank failures aren't the sort of thing that rile up the 'mostly peaceful protest' crowd... but if those EBT cards get declined there will be pandemonium!

DOW is actually up at this point... so I guess I'm a fool.

Anyways... did anyone else today feel like having a little more firepower on hand?

Going to a micro-9mm isn't exactly "serious firepower" but it's a heckuva step up from the single stack 32 I usually carry.

Just stifle. This is a wind bag whose time has past. I did not comment on him from the Allen mall shooting. Police say stop interviewing him, he is making up things. Right out of the gate he said people died because of automatic weapons that should be banned.

Well, he's another douchy veteran who "claims he loves guns but wants gun reform," so it's no surprise he's someone lacking in credibility. Anyone who says he loves guns but wants gun reform is a flat-out liar regarding his love for guns, and if the guy is going to so boldly and publicly lie about that, then he has to be doubted when he publicly makes other claims regarding gun-related matters, too.

And I'll say it again. I'm sick of people lending credence to anti-gun sentiments expressed by veterans just because they're veterans. If being a veteran made one an authority on gun rights, then why aren't they highlighting the sentiments of the vast majority of veterans who are fully pro-2A? (rhetorical question) That embarrassing slob can stuff it.

There are vets who served, then there are vets who were served a dose of the real world. The difference, is both in the eyes, and somewhat in the words. This dude, has soft eyes. Bless his heart.....

Yes. From what I’ve read, he’s enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame. I’m thankful the Allen PD has exposed his lies.
Fast food employees are still bold. American transforming. 12 year old in car takes out arguing employee.

So much wrong with this story. I remember when cute girls used to come out on roller skates to serve you at sonic. Now it's a 32 year old man with his face and hands covered in tattoos.

20 year old driving around a 12 year old... with an 'assault rifle'/AR-15? WTF

Is there a way we can ever go back to the Old America?

More on that guy in AZ that killed the lady on the hiking trail.

Supposedly when shown a picture of her, said he wanted to look like her.

Washed out of marines boot camp a few years ago.

From a week ago in Los Angeles. Clothing store owner says he is done with the store after 2 armed robbers caused him to be hospitalized.

Not a fit, since unarmed. But should it be this easy to steal over $100,000 in hand bags?
And looking forward to the day it is not called a Covid mask.

I am torn on the covid mask moniker. As much as I would love to forget the whole fiasco, i also want to keep rubbing it in their communist faces.
One day, if freedom and knowledge atill exists, history will not be kind to the faux-demic

2020 NEVER FORGET. "two weeks to stop the spread" became - for some- FOREVER.

Millions were conned into taking the fauxccine. How many here proudly posted that they got the jab? Lots of them reported they didn't feel great afterwards either... but you know... just 'what we got to do'... and they went back to get another dose!

Now some of the jabbed aren't even ***ing with us anymore. RIP.

The creation and response to COVID was a crime against humanity and there has still been zero recompense. No reckoning. Not even a sincere apology.

It makes me sick. Almost every week I called my town council members, the mayor, my representatives in the statehouse and the senate, then my federal representatives. I told them how this wasn't American - this wasn't America. I was laughed at more than once.

Anyone with an ounce of sense knew this was insanity... but we carried on... and my disgusting neighbors and countrymen meekly bowed down to tyranny.

Proud to be unvaxxed. Proud that I never shut my business down for a single day (well.. except maybe for that week I had COVID in late 2021 🤷‍♂️ 🤣 )

Sorry for the screed but COVID is a sore spot for me. Too many good people gone and for no good reason.

Always be prepared for the possibility of unexpected events erupting in your immediate vicinity. I first discovered the need of always keeping additional ammunition on hand in 1971. I typically keep four reloads in my revolver's carry case.
NM shines. Media and governor over and over you should not be able to own automatic AR 15s....

Nuts in many varieties. Will see how whacked this guy is. Started very far away. Will see who knew it, again.

Paper money looks green, but it's not "green". Printing it uses up trees and causes climate change ......just one bank going under raises the temperature .0000000002 degrees..... o_O ..

I've got some cash hidden throughout the house. You can get "snack size" zip locks that fit a stack of twenties perfectly ..... :)
A few of those banks closing, should lower temps, much less HOT air going into our environment, as well as our money.

All of these tiered, color-coded threat codes got me to thinking about how they would categorize me, and based on how my wife reacts when I eat certain things, they would probably categorize me as a Tier-1 Code Brown.
Tiered, multi color-coded threat codes? Isn't that a 'Pride' thang?
