At the Sig P320?
After reading the September 2015 1St Freedom, I'm beginning to look
more closely at the Sig P320 Compact as a possible carry piece. It is almost
the same size as the Sig P220 Compact (except for the half inch taller
in height) and carries three more rounds in the magazine (single stack
v double stack in the 320).
I laid hands on one today and am VERY impressed with the trigger. It is
a very short take-up, short throw and short reset. While it is rated as five
pound pull weight, it doesn't feel that heavy. I've just got to find someone
that has a P320C, so I can try one out.
One other item is the cost. In looking at them in three different retailers,
the 5280 Armory in Denver, the Sportsman's Warehouse and Cabella's,
the Armory was lowest at $540, then Sportsman's at $550, then there
is Cabella's at full retail. That would put it out the door, WITH a box of
premium ammo AND taxes for a few pennies less than $600.
After just reading multiple reviews of the P320 and handling it,
I'M IMPRESSED!
WHY'D that ding-dang furnace have to go out now?
(actually, just replacing it before Winter gets here)
