Quick question about the flash suppressor...what's the thread on the muzzle? I'm figuring it's standard.

Looking to swap out with a 3-prong if I find one at the gun show tomorrow.

The last I knew they where still the standard 1/2-28 threads. Now you want a real good budget muzzle brake that works really well and gives options on install crush washer or jam nut. I just pick this one up on Amazon and it works great, not sure if you are looking for flash suppression but this tames the AR upper rise recoil to nothing. I am glad I bought this and will purchase more on other builds.

Like said Ruger uses standard 1/2 28 for the AR-556, SR-556, Mini 14 and 10/22 threaded barrels. Using standard thread sizes is good.
No threads if your gun is "State Compliant" sadly.
