This forum and the single six guys are a bad influence. I took my couple year old single six out for cleaning/re-oiling after reading all the fun you fellows have been having at the range. So tomorrow after chores I'm breaking out the SSix and hoarded 22 magnum and LR ammo. I checked the price of 22 mag ammo and was surprised at the current price. So it wont hurt so much that the $7 boxes I'm shooting tomorrow. Just got to say THANKS GUYS!

Thanks I'm a shamed it been a safe queen for a while. Been shooting the 327 mag GP100 because I reload for it and the SR 1911. But it's time for 22 fun again. It's my third new model SSix and keeping this one.

Now that the rim fire drought is nearly over I plan on adding brass to the scrap barrel.

Glad we were able to help get that out of the safe. Personally it took me a long time to get one and it is by far my favourite. Its always in my range bag. I got a flat Mark III sight which makes for a much clearer sight picture.

Very nice! And I misspoke the boxes of CCI 22 mag hp was $3.97 when I bought it. Must have been hording longer than i thought!

Nothing but a bunch of enablers here, and we make no apologies for it. And don’t get too hung up on the price of ammo. Just shoot it. Ammo always seems high, and I bet when you paid $4 a box it seemed high too. You can’t put a price on enjoyment.

Yes it was. The wife was feeling bad and stayed inside. After about 20 minutes I felt her touch my shoulder and said it sounded like too much fun to pass up. We took turns and shot up 200 LR and 50 magnums. So it has medicinal benefits too.

Made in 2000 purchased in 2001, I noticed all my Rugers have the "S" on the "R" in the Eagle. But newer ones only have an "R", when did this happen? I did see something about they brought back the red eagle in honor of A. Sturm's passing anniversary.
