Anyone try the lead removal cloth on th LCR cylinder? I know it's stainless but I seem to remember something about a coating that gives it the finish it has.

The lead removal cloths ( I've used Birchwood-Casey and Hoppe's, no difference) are slightly abrasive. They both say not to use on blued guns, so I would not use one on my LCRs.

The cylinders are so heavily fluted, there isn't much cylinder face left to clean. That's one thing I like about LCRs.................I just clean what I can with Hoppe's.

Your right about not much chamber face.I agree the deeply fluted cylinder and small cylinder width is some of the great features of the LCR
