The bisley 454 I ordered came in Saturday. I was pretty disappointed with the poor fit and finish so I had my lgs send it back. Normally I'm not too picky when it comes to new Rugers, they usually have a few minor things that I can deal with but this particular gun was just too much. It had bluing loss on the front sight, various nicks over the entire gun, horrible grip fit, small dents on the ejector housing, ALL screw heads were boogered, obviously dent under the frame from stamping the model name too close to the edge, excess metal left in the corners of the cylinder window, chatter marks on the side of the topstrap....but oddly enough the action was much smoother than the average out of the box Ruger.

That is very sad for such an expensive gun. I let it slide on my new SP101, it took quite a lot of filing edges smooth and polishing out swirl marks. I hope they make it right for you!
