A friend bought a new mini-30, he said he can't find the bore diameter in the instruction manual. I think I read the new ones have a .310 or .311 bore diameter but I'm pretty sure some one here would Know.
Thanks

PS: I did email Ruger CS but thought I'd ask here too.
Thanks.

Hey, neighbor. Yes, it will be .310, Ruger used up all their .308 barrels a long time ago.
You can check real quick for him ( takes about 4 seconds), using some calipers in the muzzle, open them up, back them down and turn an 1/8" or so then open again. Do that a few times all you'll see the largest diameter will be .310".
Getting snow over your way, Frank ?

Thanks sandog, I'll tell him & I may get a reply from Ruger themselves.
Yup we've got about 6" & had a visit from a deer last night while we were asleep. No snow in his tracks so it was early this morning.
