Never tried that, but I have several holsters for tactical lights that have had the cover flap melted. So, I suppose they could.

Back in the day...72'...I used to warm my hands with my Streamlight SL20...but this is coffee-warming hot...must have a glass lens...he's been advertising here for awhile but I didn't know this much power was available...here comes the rookie burning up his cruiser a la Q-beam....just a matter of time when the light's brighter than the rookie

Ok, he filled it with water and used it as a lens. It worked in the clip, but I haven't had the nerve to try it.
