I had one for a brief time ,it shot just fine, and came with two mags and holster . I didn't like the sights much though and the polymer frame had a kind of a cheap feel to it ,(as most) but even cheaper ... I ran 200 trouble free rounds but in the end I sold it off . For a basic , reliable and lots of value its a nice choice , but most of us ,especially if we like Rugers ,may find the quality less then at Rugers standards . I say if you can find one , buy a P-95 or a good used SR9 and be happier in the long run .

Are you sure you are not talking about a (Century International) Canik TP9SA 9mm 4.47in 18RD Black Pistol?

They are about $320 at Kentucky Gun Co.

I have been looking for a range 9mm & they have some impressive reviews!
It may end up being a 1911, as I like that platform alot.

which TP-9?
the TP-9 (old model)
or the TP-9SA (a pistol that didnt need to be built)
or the TP-9V2 (ive no clue on that one)

ive had a TP-9 for almost 3 years
have around 10,000 rounds thru it
awesome pistol
shoots and shoots and shoots
i had a nice holster made for it (Dave used a Walther P99 blue gun as a form for it)

the TP9SA
a single action with a decocker ?
only for a range gun
as you would have to shuck the round out of the chamber to get it cocked
if by chance it got decocked while you where carrying it
and by then you would be dead as you would still be trying to figure out why it didnt go bang

they seem reliable and accurate as the tp-9 from what i have seen
but just remember that bit of weridness for a carry gun
i suppose if you were a condition 2 carry type it would be a great gun
