Would like to hear from those who have used this ammo and find out if it is as clean and reliable as mini mags and also if the accuracy is significantly better...

Especially from a 10/22 at 100 yards but all info and replies are appreciated...

TIA

Two thumbs up~~

I just tried the CCI AR Tactical ammo today in my Ruger Mk II and my ISSC M11100 M22. I had no jams in the ISSC and only one jam in the Ruger, which is a much better result than I have been getting with other ammunition, including CCI Mini Mags. Also, I noticed that in both the Ruger and the ISSC the accuracy was very good and I didn't notice any variation in recoil or report which is often noticed with much of the other bulk ammunition. I still need to try it in my 10/22.

I got a box of the CCI AR Tactical 22 and it shot fine, but the waxy coating was a little bit weird. I use one of those McFadden Machine speed loaders for my 22/45 and they wouldn't work in that. I finished off the box in my 10/22 and never had a failure to fire although I did have quite a few failures to feed. Not sure if it was the wax coatings or not. I have a Tactical Solutions barrel, so it may not have liked the sticky coating.

I probably won't buy anymore.

If the coating is the same as the Blazers mine wouldn't like them either...

However, it the coating is the same as mini mags there should be no problems with regard to that...

I KNOW you have lots of mini mags... :D

So which is it...

Nah... It's not the same as CCI Mini Mags. It's a thicker, waxy coating. It actually made my fingers sticky. Not sure if I got a weird batch or what, but I didn't like it. CCI Mini Mags run fine in all my guns and loaders.
