I have had several shotguns over the years but none of them took the interchangeable choke tubes. I just got a real good deal on a Remington 11-87 12 ga. It came with 3 extra tubes and the wrench to install them. What kind of lube are you putting on the tubes when you install them. Thanks for the advise.

As the old saying goes, a little dab will do ya. Frankly, I use that stuff on everything. It works really well on lug nuts.

When I had thin bryley(sp) tubes I always used the graphite lub that comes in a tube. I can not remember the name, but you probably can get it from Brownell's. You do not need much. I would put a little on finger and dabbed the threads and then push down the threads. I never had a problem with a STICKER.

Thanks guy,s probably going to go with the Rem oil for now since I have it on hand. This shotgun will mostly see Skeet and trap shooting on Company time with customers.

That graphite lube is the same as anti-sieze...

I use Tetra Gun Grease on my screw in tubes on my O/U Citori Shotguns. A little goes a long way.

I use a commercial lube called Never Seize. It is gray or silver in color, and comes in tubes or bottles. I believe it was designed to lube the threads of spark plugs that are to be screwed into aluminum heads. It works and it is cheap, much cheaper than Rem-Oil........Robin
