terry p, I am with you. A Blackhawk or GP in .44 Special would be great! I have written Ruger many times over the years asking for just such a critter, but to no avail. I GP in .41 Mag would be great too.
About two years ago, I traded an old Ruger Blackhawk .45LC to my BIL for a brand new-NOS SKS from China that his Dad had bought a bunch of waaaay back when they were really cheap. It had never been fired.
It was nothing special, just a 4-5/8" blued version with some faux Ivory grips I got off...
I recently chanced across the above vendor, who offers excellent quality grips for Ruger single action revolvers (and Colt Government models) for what I find very reasonable prices considering the quality, typically $35-40.
