Hmmm. I use to clean my Stainless Steel BP wheel gun in the dishwasher. It worked great!

I wonder how well Hoppes #9 would work in the dish washer?

Many moons ago a bunch of us took our mud-covered M-14s into the shower. We did have guards watching to make sure the drill Sgt wasn't around.

Same with my 1860 Colt... Back when I had a dishwasher lol.

I actually do have a dishwasher, but she slaps me when I refer to her as one.

During WWII GI'S would strip M1 grands and clean the triggers in their steel helmets filled with soap and boiling water. Drying and greasing afterwards.
