I don't do pretty customs or restoration to like new guns . But I enjoy taking a beat dog and making a fun ,useable shooter outta it. Think sow's ear and turning it into a better looking , different kind of a sow's ear.
This 32H&R Vaq. was pretty well finish challenged with mostly gone fake case color and scratched up grip frame.
I stripped and polished both but that left a lot of shiny metal.on the back end.
Looking for some metal protection and just a little color shift like a patina it got a light treatment of barrel browning.
Grip frame got reshaped a little , flat bottom grips and a touch of bling.

Not carved in stone and subject to change but in the mean time ,,,,, whatca think about that color.

Looks good to me. Love the engraving on the top of the backstrap. The light browning gives a good "antique" look.

Got the "casehardening" replaced on the 45 Vaqueros by Tyler, but would have gone for your antique patina had I know about it. As for the bing, nicely done.
