Probably my most endeared firearm. The wife got a new digital cam and got some practice with my guns. Since doing some mods soon after purchase it's only jammed up once in a few thousand rounds, and that was due to a magazine follower that decided to vacate after the last round. Stock accuracy was underwhelming. She's been turned into a great shooter. I got lucky in the trigger dept. with a 4.5 lb pull with no mods other than an overtravel adjustable trigger and a factory Commander hammer.

They're great. A lot more accurate than point shooting in low light, marginally faster than open sights in rapid fire. Forgetting to turn them off before putting it in a case gets expensive, and customer service was great the time it quit working on me. This model is obsolete. There's a lot of options available now:

That's one sweet 1911! The trigger looks similar to the ones on the Taurus PT1911s.
