Greets,

I know this feller who knows a feller who has a 3rd cousin in which works for Mr. money bags; who delves off of "estate sales".

Anywho, they are about to go to auction with a boxed set of Colts, in which they claim are new, never fired, hullabaloo...

They're calling it a "Double Diamond Set", and it includes:
(1) Python, 357 Magnum, 6" Bright Stainless
(1) Officers Model, 45 ACP, 3 1/2" Bright Stainless

Matching serial numbers. Presentation box and a flyer from 1986. The flyer states 1,000 sets produced, list price $1575.

They're claiming complete kit, boxes, presentation case, tags, packing material etc.

I never knew any such thing existed.

But, Cletus says the first $2500 takes it before it gets to auction.

Therefore, I yield to you experts here. Does such exist?
Is it worth the asking price?
If purchased, are these safe queens, never to be fired, only destined to be handed down the line?

Based on recent prices, they'd probably get more than $2500 at auction for the unfired Python by itself.

Yep, I'd drop $2500 on 'em in a heart beat after confirming what they are.
