Does anyone know to what extent replacement parts for the model 3-5-7 are interchangeable with the colt python? I’m specifically wondering if the firing pin, internal springs, lock work parts, and side plate screws are interchangeable. I’m most curious about the firing pin (which I’ve heard can break) and the side plate screws (the ones I have are slightly “buggered up” so Im thinking about purchasing replacements).

It has flat springs. Everything I’ve read says that the model 3-5-7 has the exact same frame design as the python, just a different barrel and finish.
NOTE: This is NOT a “Trooper 357”, it’s a model 3-5-7, which came about before the Troopers, and was Colts top-shelf revolver before the Python came about.
