Has anyone bought any of the cylinders for Rugers offered for sale at Midway?? Are they drop in or do they have to be tuned/timed by a gunsmith?? I have a neat little conversion in mind if drop in.....
You will also need the barrel. From all of my limited experience with S&W revolvers, the barrel will usually need some machining, and the cylinders have to be fitted, too.
While not impossible as a DIY project, the tools needed to do it properly are not cheap - and neither will the labour be.
