Pretty CZ rifle OP! I like it. Do you shoot other .17 caliber rifles? I bought an Otis Pull Through cleaning kit for .17 caliber. All was well until the patch came off and got stuck in the bore. I bought a nice .17cal 1 piece carbon rod and a brass jag. I have been happy with that.

I’ve never had one, just getting this one on a whim but all my research is showing that I’m making a good choice.

On a single set trigger the trigger pull might be a few pounds normally. If you push forward on the trigger after the action is cocked it "sets" to a pull measured in ounces. It a handy function for the target range or when prone and steady in the field.
Oh so like a set trigger on a flintlock. Got to hold my breath when I set it then, freakin awesome!

these are pretty darn good rifles.

go to rimfire central and you'll find mention of "yo dave" trigger sping kits and dozens of comments on tuning 527 rifles..

will you be reloading? that will be the only way to truly get the outstanding accuracy out of your gun - they really are quite capable!

regarding reloading - there's always the bullet seating conundrum because you have to find length in respect to where the lands are AND keep in mind the magazine length..

it can be done!

mine? i have one in 22lr and one in 22hornet - i hope they will be next to me when i have my viking burial!

When I had my 700 BDL in 17 Rem (in the 70's) I learned that I had to keep the bore very clean or the bullets would not make it to the target before disintegrating. I would find tiny cuts from the pieces of jacket and a gray mist from the lead on a 100 yard target if I let it get fouled. Get a good 17 caliber cleaning rod and some JB Bore Cleaning paste and you will be fine.
