77/357 or GSR?

Depends upon what you want to do with your new rifle.

The GSR is more versatile. The only reason for a 77/357 (other than to just have one, which is always a good reason to own any firearm) would be to hunt deer or hogs in a state that doesn't allow traditional centerfire rifle hunting for them, but will allow it with a rifle chambered for handgun cartridges.

A GSR is on my "to do" list.

I have a GSR and a 77/357. I think the GSR is a better rifle, but a lot depends on your needs. What are your plans for it? Why are you not sure?

Your location is listed as Cali so either is OK (I think). Can you own 10rnd mags there for removable mag rifles? Just asking, I don't have a clue.

Unless you already have something in .357 Mag...I would get the GSR!
