I am considering placing the Dillon 1500 on my Hornady progressive press. Has anyone else tried this and if so how did it work out?

Thank You!

Over on the forum "Glock Talk" reloading section there are several threads that have very positive comments on the Dillon 1500 case trimmer. You might want to check out the threads there.

Rangerdeepv, I used to have a Dillon case trimmer …. very fast but not as precision as I like. I had mine set up on a single stage press and would not consider putting it on a progressive press. Why? After the cases get trimmed, there is still need for inside and outside case mouth deburring plus you get brass filings in the case and shell holder.

I sold my Dillon 1500 and went back to my conventional Forester case trimmer with an electric screwdriver connected to the shaft instead of the crank handle. Not as fast as the Dillon but it is much more precision and also requires case mouth deburring.
