I finally drew an elk tag after waiting 4 years. Looking forward to going on my own hunt instead of someone elses.

are all elk tags lotteried, or did you draw for a big bull?

All elk tags are a draw and I drew an antlerless tag. I am a meat hunter not a rack hunter.

I lived in Show Low Az 5 yrs and never got drawn , And had elk eating my apples and
grasing on my bottom land every day and couldn't get a tag .....GOOD LUCK on filling
your tag ..

Well I just got back from my hunt tonight and I did fill my tag. Early morning on the last day. I'll send a pic when ready.

I used a Ruger m77 mkii all weather in 30-06 with burris 3-9x40 scope from 270 yds.
