Just wondering who else does this and what names they selected...

I have given unique names to most of our guns. Now we sometimes talk in name-code between ourselves when discussing different guns we have in front of others. ;)

Funny, folks tend to remember our guns by name also.

For example, my pair of identical 1873 SSA 38 cal revolvers are Itchy & Scratchy according to their serial numbers.

Hubs' AR-15 is Thumper.

The 12 gauge coach gun is The Judge.

The 12 gauge 1897 pump is The Deputy.

No, but now that you mention it, I might give it some thought. Maybe I can name my 2 LCRs Jack Johnson and Tom O'Leary to start.

Just googled those names. The Boxers? cool names!

If Hubs ever gives me my own AR-15 it will have to be Bambi. :)

We recently brought a Henry Arms AR7 home from Cabela's.

I named it Brubaker.

Anyone figure out why I chose that name?

I've wondered, everyone talks about their "Elsie Pea" (LCP), why not Elsie something for the LCR?

Elsie Are? Elsie A-r-r-r! like pirates say in the movies? Elsie Revolver? Nah, I guess nothing works with LCR.......:(

The Mk II is named Little bill. ( A roomate who owned a Super Blackhawk name his Bill.) The LC9 is named Dan after my roomate who taught me well about firearms (RIP Dan). The Glenfield 30-30 is name Gerry after my Father who I have fond memories of hunting with as a boy. The new 10/22 is named Don in memory of a good friend whom passed this year. My wife named her Sig P238 Lucy.

I did when I was in my early 20s, but it's something I outgrew.

Cool Name! ;)

My Ruger M77MK2 in 458 Lott has a custom built MPI composite stock, a decelerator pad, and a Magnabreak. It's name is "El Kablooie".

No joke.

I haven't named my new LCR 38 yet. Names are important and not to be rushed into lightly if it doesn't immediately pop right out.

But I am leaning towards....

"My Widdow Fwend"

Anything we carry concealed is referred to as "My Lil' Friend" and anything in the safe is either Big Boomer or Little Boomer.
