The post is asking about the Barnes TSX 55gr bullet. It's a solid copper (lead free and non toxic) projectile. The less dense material makes them longer than a lead core bullet of the same weight. The toughness (increased penetration and weight retention) of mono-metal projectiles mimics heavier lead core bullets. The Barnes bullets are pricey, and not all rifles shoot them accurately. With others like the 60gr Partitions they offer owners of slow twist rifles something they can use on medium game. My personal minimum is a .243 for medium game hunting, but I have some 60gr Full Boar loads for when I am carrying a Rem 700 .223 for coyote/ bobcat and see a pig.

Thanks guys for your opinions! My mini has a 1:9 twist and according to Ruger, it shoots well for 55gr ammo, but what about a 62 gr?
