recently did a kidd catalog upgrade to my otherwise stock vleh. extractor, firing pin, drop in trigger job, vblock, plunger, receiver pins, etc.

excited to put some rounds through it, took her out only to have the first round jam and not seat properly. tried to cycle a few rounds and each one does this and takes some material off the case. something not sitting square or barrel too deep in receiver?

can you guys help me try and track does the cause?

Looks like you overtorqued the barrel retainer screws, causing the muzzle to droop and the breech to rise. This creates a downward angled entry for the round into the chamber rather than a straight feed. As the round scraped over the edge of the chamber mouth, metal was shaved off it.

Remove the barrel retainer screws and re-tighten them to no more than 15 INCH-POUNDS of torque and let us know how that works out.
