Hey,

This was giving me fits for weeks.

My 3-9x32 Bug Buster scope is a mere 8.1" long and mounted as far back as it would go on my Takedown. The eyepiece was still too far from my eye to use the scope effectively.

And I just refuse to put a cheek pad on the rifle. Kinda ruins the lines of the rifle for me.

I knew there had to be a way. And there is.

I found this scope mount on Amazon. Burris makes a similar one for around $80. No thanks.

This one was $11.95 SHIPPED. I ordered it Sunday night and got it today. Pretty good.

It's on there tight. I haven't used it yet but I don't see it moving at all. It even has a set screw that runs through it to tighten the mount to the base once you have it where you want it.

It brings the scope back to my eye about an extra 1.5" which is just about perfect!

AND I can now use the velcro flap to hold everything in the case. Before, the case would zip closed but I had to fold up the velcro flap and let the stock stick out the end of the pocket.

YIP effen EEE!

Happy Thanksgiving.

That is exactly what I need. Can you supply a link or at least a description so I can find the same thing? I tried searching for it but came up empty. Thanks.

Right here, bro - Amazon.com: Airgun/.22 Bi-directional Cantilever 1" Ring Mount: Sports & Outdoors

$11.95, free shipping and it's solid as a rock on my Takedown. As I said before, i found similar mounts for $80 and I don't see how they can be better than this one and certainly not $68 better. :)
Here is another mount that will work too. You can get them at Sportsman Guide.

Sorry for the large size. I don't have control over it.

Bug Buster question

Hey Mickey, I am trying to figure out whether my UTG 3-9X32 Compact CQB Bug Buster AO RGB Scope has an adjustable eye piece.

The 'eye bell' is threaded and that eye piece 'ring' can be moved (turned) but I am not sure if it is meant to focus the reticle (i.e. diopter adjustment) or whether its just meant to install the part at factory assembly.
Not referring to the power adjustment ring farther forward.

What do you figure on your same scope??

Thanks.
