These are on my Ruger Bisley 41 Mag. I made them from a nice piece of dark-heart maple I found at Home Depot. I made several mistakes but hopefully I learned enough to do a better job next time.

I think I see one of the oh shoots but the main thing is that wonderful golden glow that radiates out the finely figured maple. Nice work.

We are our own worst critic when it comes to a project. Those came out excellent and look great. Good job.

I never liked the look of a Bis until just recently. Your grips are beautiful and functional, and makes me think that I've got to have one before I go. I have a 7.5" Redhawk that shoots extremely well. It has had stock wood grips that I thought were a bit too small, and now, the Hogue Monogrip that I think is a bit too much for my hand size. I just got the urge to follow your example and try making a pair that just fit. I'm not much of a wood-worker, but this seems simple enough to start-by-doing. Thanks for the spark of inspiration.
