Got inspired by reading the recent thread about finding one of these. As luck would have it, I learned of this one a couple days ago. Just picked it up today. 6 1/2" barrel, near-perfect bluing, beautiful factory walnut grips, NO holster wear or cylinder ring, indicating it's hardly ever been fired. Quite rare to hear and feel the half-cock of the hammer on a Ruger. No, I will NOT be making any changes to it. I'll be looking for a presentation case at the next gunshow now.

Congratulations, great teaser and buildup for the pics. Big old Ruger revolvers are works of art. The new one's too, but there's something different about the old models.
