I'll have to let someone else chime in as to their attributes as table fare. I don't really enjoy squirrel so I don't hunt them. The only pressure they get is from one of my friends who loves eating them. He has only taken gray squirrels. I have wanted a mounted fox squirrel for years and took the opportunity to harvest this one. The whole squirrel went to the taxidermy shop.
Not just a bipod and rear bag, I had already dialed in several clicks of elevation. I had point of aim figured out at 100yds when the squirrel presented itself.
