Thinking about ordering a new front sight for my new SP101, whats the most visible sight for my 60 year old eyes. Opinions would be great.

XS Dot (big or small), Meprolight or Trijicon all make a nice tritium dot front sight with a white circle that's very visible.

I have a Meprolight on mine, love it. Depending on just how bad your eyes are you could go with a big dot.

Gemini Customs makes a nice fiber optic sight.

I painted mine with glow in the dark nail polish...works great and less expensive.

I agree with Waveform. I have a XS Standard Dot on my SP101 and it is plenty prominent and I am retired and don't have the best eyesight. I had a factory sight with flourescent orange paint on it. The standard sight is .155" tall which is not the most prominent of sights.

I went to the flea market and found a $0.99 bottle of fluorescent orange nail polish and painted my front sight. It shows up great and is plenty durable.
