Bought new in the 80's. Taken care of but used - a lot. Decided it needed some attention. All new springs, trigger job, Cerakote, and new grips. Old school, but I think it turned out nice.

Newbs - looks like "new" again! Nicely redone. Refinishing and customizing our guns is one of the most fun aspects of owning firearms - whether they are old or new, it sure is satisfying when we take on these projects.

Nice!

Looking great. Where did you get the grips?

Nicely done. I like what you did with the hammer and trigger. Nice contrast.

I believe those are the Ruger oversized grips.
They work nice if you have large hands.
I bought mine from the Ruger store 5 years ago, they were closing them out.

Bought from Ruger a couple years ago, stuck them on the shelf and waited until I redid the gun. They were NOS still in original packaging. Ridiculously cheap. I want to say $10.
