New gun owner and want to be safe and sensible...didn't really know what questions to ask at dealer...now I do. What grain is good fit for my 380

I agree with Shoot, 95g is what you see the most of. Have used American Eagle 95g FMJ and lately have been using Speer Lawman 95g FMJ. Both have performed flawlessly in my LC380. BTW: welcome to the forum and enjoy your new Ruger.

Welcome to the forum. Guess I'm different. I always use 90's. It's clearly a matter of what shoots the best.

380ACP ammo is available in 65, 88, 90, 92, 95, 100, and 102gr. 90 & 95gr choices are by far the most common. I use 90gr for my self-defensive needs and 90 or 95gr for range ammunition.
